Cawan Berbisik, is an art project about conversations, sharing and support. The experience of connection between humans and relation build, although maybe only for a brief moment.

Ceramics, whether functional or decorative, are frequently considered static works of art. With this project, I wish to change the way people look at ceramics, or at least facilitate a new perspective. Ceramics can be anything you want, even a medium to either directly or indirectly connect 2 individuals through a previously undetected connection to each other.

The Covid pandemic has caused numerous problems for us all, especially mentally and emotionally. Which drags humans towards the lower regions of their personal happiness. When people flow towards rock bottom, they need to hear some kind of positive message or affirmation that assures them that they can get through anything. Unfortunately not everyone has access to such a support system.

This work invites individuals to make positive messages for their future selves. So people don't have to keep looking for affirmations from others to feel good about themselves.
