The idea of deliberately not telling something to protect our loved ones is confusing for me.Especially when it comes to something that can have a direct impact on my state of mind. Even though we cannot control anything that happens in life, it would be great if we were at least prepared for it. This happened to me with my mother. Because she thinks that I would be worried of her well-being, she never told me what was really going on concerning her health. Few months ago she had a stroke and as a result couldn’t really talk, leaving me to only hear whispers and thoughts.
